Biomass plastic biodegradable plastic

Environmentally friendly product packaging! Usable in various fields just like plastic.

We would like to introduce "biodegradable plastics," which we handle. "Biodegradable plastics" can be used in the same way as regular plastics, and after use, they break down into carbon dioxide and water that exist in nature, making them products with low environmental impact. In the future, various biodegradable raw material sheets are expected to be developed, and one of the challenges, the cost aspect, is also anticipated to improve. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Biodegradable plastic PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate)

Biodegradable plastics (bioplastics) produced by microorganisms that are completely decomposed by microorganisms in natural environments such as soil and seawater.

We would like to introduce "PHA" from Phabuilder, which we handle. This product is 100% biodegradable and decomposes in various natural environments without generating microplastics. Among the four main industrialized PHA products, the company currently produces PHB and PHBV (rigid) as well as P34HB (flexible). 【Features】 ■ Bio-based ■ Biodegradable ■ Compostable ■ Biocompatible *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Biodegradable plastic "PLA (polylactic acid)"

PLA (polylactic acid) is a plant-based plastic material made from starch derived from sources such as corn.

It does not increase carbon dioxide in the atmosphere even when incinerated (carbon neutral), resulting in a lower environmental impact compared to fossil-derived plastics. Additionally, it decomposes into water and carbon dioxide under certain environmental conditions (biodegradable), which means that even if it becomes microplastics, it can decompose in the natural environment, reducing environmental pollution.

PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate)

Among biodegradable plastics, it is very flexible and strong! It also has excellent hydrolysis resistance.

Our company handles PBAT, which is chemically stable in the atmosphere and has almost no odor. Among biodegradable plastics, it excels in biodegradability, particularly under composting conditions. Currently, we have a strong track record in film applications used for biodegradable garbage bags and agricultural mulch sheets. 【Features】 ■ Biodegradable ■ Good compatibility with other biodegradable materials ■ Molding properties ■ Mechanical properties *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Joint efforts on biodegradable polymers in injection molding for the SDGs.

Manufacturing biodegradable plastic products to contribute to the Earth's environment! Towards the realization of a sustainable society.

Our company is working with a chemical manufacturer on injection molding using biodegradable polymers as part of our efforts to address the microplastic issue, which has become an international problem. We manufacture plastic products that decompose in nature, contributing to the global environment. To continue this effort, it is necessary for us to maintain the profits required as a business, but we believe it is also essential to recognize our role as a more socially responsible entity and to continue our activities accordingly. As part of this, we support the "SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)" advocated by the United Nations and will work towards the realization of a sustainable society. [Commitment to the SDGs] ■ Energy for all and clean energy ■ Protect the richness of the oceans ■ Protect the richness of the land *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Towards solving the marine plastic problem: What is biodegradability?

It is hoped that ocean plastic will lead to solutions to the problem!

Biodegradability refers to the property of a compound being broken down by the action of microorganisms into inorganic substances such as carbon dioxide and water. To reduce the environmental impact of microplastics, the introduction of biodegradable plastics, aside from paper materials, is gaining attention. However, there are challenges, such as the fact that very few materials currently biodegrade in aquatic environments, making it difficult to recycle them together with regular plastics. In the future, it is hoped that marine plastics will be linked to solutions for these issues. 【Biodegradability】 ■Composting - Paper: Decomposes - Polylactic acid: Decomposes ■Soil Environment - Paper: Decomposes - Polylactic acid: Does not decompose ■Water Environment - Paper: Decomposes - Polylactic acid: Does not decompose *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
